I was today a participant in the Seaside Heights (NJ) Clownfest Parade. If Seaside Heights is a microcosm of the U.S. at large, I can tell you there is no shortage of patriotism and pride in our country right now when we need it most.

On the afternoon of September 11, 2001, the Blogger page had been replaced with a simple note saying that we were suspending operations until the situation in New York was a little more stable, up until the posting of this message several days later.
